What does MGO 100+ mean?

MGO stands for methylglyoxal, a naturally occurring compound used to grade Manuka honey. The MGO 100+ rating indicates a stated methylglyoxal level of at least 100 mg/kg, while NPA 6+ provides the corresponding activity reference shown on the jar.
